Fisherman Accounting

Record Improvements

Site Updates

You can now add Notes to individual Site records! This can be useful for adding Warehouse terms, pricing agreements, etc. There is also a new tab on the Site record view for Related Sites which displays all sites and site addresses that are configured in the system for the company and allows you to select one or more sites to relate them to the open Site record (you can also unselect a site to remove the relation).

Framework

Grouping Improvements

Subtotal Updates

You can now view footer subtotals for data that is grouped in a grid, where applicable! Please note you will have to removing existing saved layouts and save a new one for these subtotals to display using your Saved Grid Layout.

Grower Accounting

Framework Improvements

NorthScope 3.0

The Grower Accounting Functional has a fresh coat of paint! Not only were many setup pages converted into the NorthScope 3.0 Framework, but the Tickets List View has been updated and a new Ticket Lines List View has been created to not only be more consistent with other functional areas but to provide you with a way to view all items on open tickets in one place. The Ticket History Inquiry was also converted and updated, giving you several new Search options and the ability to view ticket versions as needed – plus, it’s faster than ever.

Inventory

List View Improvements

Receipt and Warehouse Lot Updates

The Receipt transaction grid Mass Update and Warehouse Lot list view both got two new properties (‘Storage Begin Date’ and ‘Storage Renewal Date’) as well as Warehouse Lot attributes.

Adjustment, Production and Transfer Updates

The Adjustment, Production and Transfer Record Views were updated to follow the NorthScope 3.0 standards (and to match the already updated Receipt record view) with some button updates and an overall improved save process.

Costing Updates

Because we understand costing is an essential part of ensuring you’re making a profit, we aligned costing with the GL and inventory balances with the following updates:

  • Update Costs
    • Several columns were added and reorganized for ease of auditing
    • More Actions – Links were fixed to open the Cost History and Lot Balance pages to further audit.
    • Mass Update
    • Completely revamped. You can update base costs, layer costs, costs from costs, post to the GL, and pull costs from purchase orders.
    • Please see the Help for further details.
  • Cost History
    • Search options were revamped to make filtering for what you are looking for easier. We also changed labels for search options to be consistent with the data they relate to.
    • Columns were added, removed, and reorganized to make auditing cost history easier.

Purchasing

Record Improvements

Purchase Order, Invoice and Credit Memo Updates

You now have the option on Purchase Orders, Invoices and Credit Memos to choose a due date or days as the payment terms. This means that you can now say, this invoice is due in 10 days, or this invoice is due on June 30th. Either way it works out well. But that’s not all, you can also do this with discount date. Happy purchasing!

Additionally, you spoke and we listened. We have added back the Line Description column (which defaults the corresponding line Item’s Item Description but can be overwritten) to the Purchase Order record view, Purchase Order Lines list view, Purchase Order Lines History Inquiry, Invoice/Credit Memo record view, Invoice Lines list view, Invoice Line History Inquiry, PO Linked Lines Inquiry and the Inventory Receipt record view. We also cleaned up the Item ID and Item Description to have separate columns for each where applicable, so we went ahead and updated the Purchase Order and Invoice/Credit Memo record views to reflect these changes.

We also added inventory items to Invoices and Credit Memos, meaning that a valid item would need to be selected in order to save a line on Invoices and Credit Memos. For details on how this update works with third party integrations, please see AP Invoice Credit Memo (XML).

Payment Batch Updates

Vendor attributes (if configured) are now available to select from the column chooser of the Build Payment Batch record view grid. Simple as that!

Sales

Record Improvements

Field Updates

We added the Storage Begin Date, Storage Renewal Day and Batch Comment properties to the Sales Find Lots record view and Allocate by Inventory Lot pages. We also added the Storage Begin Date and Storage Renewal Day to the Allocate by Warehouse Lot page. You can also now open the Sales Transactions History and Sales Item History inquiries from the Sales transaction record view.

Customer Updates

Sometimes customers aren’t very consistent with paying their bills. Given this, we created a property for customers to display the Average Days to Pay. As in, on average, how long does this customer take to pay. This gives better insight on when you can expect to be paid. Additionally, you can analyze customers that you may need to have a conversation with. That, unfortunately, we can’t help with.

Sales Programs

Record Improvements

Framework Updates

Sales Programs needed some love – so that’s exactly what we gave it. First, we converted pages to the 3.0 framework to make them faster, better, stronger. Then, we gave Rebates their own program ‘Type’ and added Off Book programs for programs that calculate with specific parameters but, get this, are off book. The pages that went through the revamp process were the Sales Programs List View, Sales Program Record View, Program Classes List View, Process Settlements, and the Program Balances List View. We aren’t stopping there, we still have a handful more, so stay tuned for future releases.
